“An angry man stirs up dissension, and a hot-tempered one commits many sins.” (Proverbs 29:22/NIV).
This statement seems to be based on observation. Whenever one is merely showing others he or she is annoyed with them, those individuals might very well find some reason to be annoyed on their part also.
Better be careful about what you say. Careless words might make things more complicated. Others might feel hurt about your words rather than trying to fathom what you might be concerned with.
