Something about Christian Attitudes and Priorities

Here is a video of a preacher speaking to whom I have been listening often in my teens and twenties. As far as I can see, this message originally has been given in a meeting of that fellowship. The video has been edited for a TV-program. I am sharing it from Vimeo.

Late Mr Daniel is referring to the story when twelve-year-old Jesus had stayed in the temple while his parents already were travelling home. They thought Jesus was somewhere among the other travellers. They returned to Jerusalem and found him in the temple. (Cf. Luke 2: 41-52).

Joshua Daniel’s sermon is based on the Lord’s answer to his parents. Perhaps you could also summarise this message by the words: “Seek ye first the kingdom of God…” (Matthew 6:33).

What are we prepared to give for God? How much time are we ready to spend with Him? How much time are we prepared to spend for Him?

I am taking a break. That is why I did not write a new text on 1 Corinthians 13 for today. Keep on following me. I will come back to the main subject of my blog.

About christenfindenruhe

On my new English blog "Motivation of Christian Love" I am sharing my thoughts on 1 Corinthians 13 and other biblical texts.
