“Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews 12:2/NIV).
How can we learn to trust God? It is by looking at Jesus. Jesus reveals God to us as the heavenly father. Jesus has endured the cross and He has carried our sins on that cross.
We need not continually feel bogged down by our sins. Jesus liberates us to acknowledge our sins. He has carried our sins on that cross of Calvary. In Him we can have forgiveness and new life.
As we come to Him with our whole lives and with our sins He creates a new heart within us. This is a heart that is capable of trusting God. Jesus wants to become the author of faith within each of our lives.
More than that Jesus also wants to carry us through. He inaugurates faith within a believer. He also wants to perfect that faith within us. He wants to provide a way for us to one day stand before God blamelessly.
Will you give your heart to Jesus? Look at Him! Study the accounts on His life on earth and learn to trust Him!

I love this.. glory be to God!

I consider Hebrews 12:2 to be my “life verse.” Thanks for sharing this.
