In fact I am somewhat proud of this photograph, because it is not that easy with my equipment to get a flying bird on a picture. I am happy that several details can be clearly seen. (Of course I did some cutting. There was more of the blue sky around the bird originally. The bird itself appeared smaller on the original photograph).
Flying is obviously beyond human capability (apart from planes etc. of course). It may be an image of faith that helps us rise above our circumstances.
In the bible you can find a number of verses referring to eagles and eagles’ wings. For example think about this one:
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31/KJV).
In order to wait upon the Lord you must trust the Lord. Trust is another word for believing and faith. People in bible days did marvel at the eagle. An eagle can be symbol for a person having faith.

I thought a picture of spring-time is fairly suitable to illustrate ‘hope’. In spring trees are growing new leaves and some of them even flowers. Just a couple of weeks before that things have been looking fairly different. Spring gives reason to hope for a new harvest in autumn.

Throughout 2020 in all my written posts I have been focussing on 1 Corinthians 13:7. This is my concluding post on that verse.
I pray and I hope that these images can be an inspiration to you. Perhaps they also help you remember something you read in my posts. Or may be the pictures help you recall some precious thoughts that came to your mind as you read my blogs.
Or maybe some new thoughts could come to your mind as you look at these pictures. Whatever you learn and discover helps you grow.
